Mass UFO Sighting Over Laredo, Texas – August 23, 2011

You MUST check out the video of the UFOs they show, but the original one it is nice i think: www.youtube.com (Um, I can upload again?… YAAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D !!!! Ahem..) ————— “Dozens of Laredo residents woke up to see a bright light in the sky that some say they just cannot explain. Many people are now saying what they saw was a UFO in the sky over south Laredo before four this morning. But not everyone believes it. Annette Garcia has more. Caught on camera. This video shot a Pro 8 News viewer allegedly shows a light some say is coming from a UFO. The light that seems like an ordinary star shone brightly over Laredo around four Tuesday morning. Its the second night in a row its been spotted. Witnesses took to the Pro 8 News facebook page posting details of what they saw. One person said the light seemed to stay in one spot. Another said he and his wife saw it between two and four am It was a bright white light and turned to two, then back to one. Witnesses say it was flying around the south Laredo area, then flew back up to central Laredo towards loop twenty and then back around and down highway 83 before it disappeared. Flying too low to be a commercial plane but was completely silent. Residents in the Chacon creek area say the see helicopters daily and this was no helicopter. UPDATE: Rumor is that she skipped town and her husband was going to go to local radio stations to apologize on her behalf. Again, these are RUMORS. Sarah is a young woman who recently moved to Laredo, Texas and has harsh words for its citizens. What starts as a rant about crime and some personal setbacks quickly descends into a racist rant, ending with Sarah admitting she is now prejudiced against Mexicans. I break down her complaints and explain how she is either wildly misinformed, exaggerating, or otherwise lying. Her rant is a wonderful study of how racism can take hold of someone. See the original video (well, a video OF the video) here: www.youtube.com Check out randomology.org for more articles, rants, updates, and news!

Severe Supercell Thunderstorm | Longview Texas May 1st 2011 Part 1

PART 1: My fellow meteorologist friends and myself from the UK went to the states shortly after the devastating tornado outbreak in late April 2011. This storm was observed on May 1st in NE Texas. It produced a mesocyclone, a lot of cloud to ground lightning, and some interesting cloud formations. No tornado was observed, apart from the odd scud-funnel, but there were some local unconfirmed reports that this storm had produced. This storm is T0077 in the ravenstorm archive.

RE/MAX Northern Illinois Agents Donated More Than $100,000 to Children?s Memorial Hospital in 2011

RE/MAX Northern Illinois Agents Donated More Than $ 100,000 to Children’s Memorial Hospital in 2011

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 11, 2012

Agents affiliated with RE/MAX offices in the northern Illinois real estate network donated more than $ 100,000 to Children’s Memorial Hospital of Chicago in 2011.

The real estate network also counted 36 Miracle Offices among its ranks in 2011. To earn the status of Miracle Office, every real estate agent in that office must make a donation to the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals®.

The Children’s Miracle Network raises funds to help support the children served by its more than 170 associate hospitals across the United States and Canada. Funds raised by RE/MAX Northern Illinois directly benefit Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, a regional center that specializes in providing top medical care for seriously ill children. The hospital provides this care regardless of families’ financial resources.

Laura Ortoleva, a spokesperson for RE/MAX Northern Illinois, said that the real estate network’s goal in 2011 was to raise $ 100,000 for Children’s Memorial Hospital. That the network bettered that figure by $ 2,000 is a testament to the quality of agents working with RE/MAX Northern Illinois, Ortoleva said.

“We have some amazing people working at RE/MAX brokerages across Northern Illinois,” Ortoleva said. “Everyone knows that the economy and the housing market have been struggling. To see our sales associates give so much during these challenging times is an amazing thing to witness. This says a lot about the sales associates at RE/MAX.”

RE/MAX Northern Illinois has raised more than $ 2.1 million for the Children’s Miracle Network since 1992. Hospital officials, expressing their gratitude for this commitment, last summer named the kitchen on the 20th floor of Children’s Memorial’s new Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago the RE/MAX Family Kitchen.
