Mass UFO Sighting Over Laredo, Texas – August 23, 2011

Ahem..) ————— “Dozens of Laredo residents woke up to see a bright light in the sky that some say they just cannot explain. Many people are now saying what they saw was a UFO in the sky over south Laredo before four this morning. But not everyone believes it. Annette Garcia has more. Caught on camera. This video shot a Pro 8 News viewer allegedly shows a light some say is coming from a UFO. The light that seems like an ordinary star shone brightly over Laredo around four Tuesday morning. Its the second night in a row its been spotted. Witnesses took to the Pro 8 News facebook page posting details of what they saw. One person said the light seemed to stay in one spot. Another said he and his wife saw it between two and four am It was a bright white light and turned to two, then back to one. Witnesses say it was flying around the south Laredo area, then flew back up to central Laredo towards loop twenty and then back around and down highway 83 before it disappeared. Flying too low to be a commercial plane but was completely silent. Residents in the Chacon creek area say the see helicopters daily and this was no helicopter. Sarah is a young woman who recently moved to Laredo, Texas and has harsh words for its citizens. What starts as a rant about crime and some personal setbacks quickly descends into a racist rant, ending with Sarah admitting she is now prejudiced against Mexicans. I break down her complaints and explain how she is either wildly misinformed, exaggerating, or otherwise lying. Her rant is a wonderful study of how racism can take hold of someone. The Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. today announced that 29 Junior Leagues across the U.S. have received cash awards from Kashi, the premier natural food and lifestyle company, to support the Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen program. Now in its seventh year, Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen is one of the most successful volunteer-driven programs addressing childhood obesity and nutrition with more than 200 individual Leagues participating in the effort.

AJLI President Delly Beekman said, “We’re honored that Kashi has recognized the great work Junior Leagues do every day in their communities as well as the success of our Kids in the Kitchen program, among the largest community-based approaches to fighting childhood obesity.
